Find answers to common questions about our handmade jewellery

All our items are handmade, therefore our measurements are approximate, and there can be some slight differences in textures and finishes due to how our products are created. The stones we use are semi precious and there could be slight variations in colour. 

We use natural semi precious stones where possible, however please note that the following stones are lab created; Ruby, Sapphire, Opalite, Blue Opalite. Emerald is Cubic Zirconia. 

Measuring for bangles is easy! Simply follow these steps:

The easiest way to measure one of your bangles on the inside diameter.

To measure your hand for a bangle, scrunch your hand as if you are putting on a bangle and measure the widest bit of your hand. Remember you want the bangle to go over your hand quite tightly so that it isn't too loose.

If you would like a different size just ask as we can adjust the majority of sizes.

We offer one exchange with no charge but if you require any further adjustment, a charge will be applied for postage and packaging. 

Lucy Kemp Jewellery create beautiful pieces using sterling silver. Silver is a natural product and will tarnish over time, please use these helpful tips to help keep your jewellery looking at it's best, for the longest time. Tarnishing is a natural process and does not effect the quality of your jewellery, you can clean using a soft cloth.

  • Avoid exposing your jewellery to harsh chemicals, such as perfumes, lotions, and cleaning products.
  • Silver is a naturally soft alloy and can scratch easily, take care not to knock your jewellery. 
  • Remove all jewellery when applying makeup or beauty products
  • Try to avoid contact with water, for example washing up, swimming and bathing. 
  • Remove your jewellery when you go to bed to avoid mis-shaping your jewellery. 
  • Occasionally pinch the butterfly backs of your studs to tighten. 
  • Store your jewellery away from direct sunlight in an airtight container to help from tarnishing. 
  • Clean your jewellery by gentle buffing using a soft polishing cloth, or in warm soapy water with a soft brass brush. 

Shipping & Returns

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are very sorry to hear that, however, simply return the item to us in its original unused condition within 14 days of receipt.Returned items should be unused and unworn (if applicable) and must be returned in original packaging with any enclosed documentation. We will issue a full refund on receipt. Alternatively, if preferred, we will also be happy to exchange the item.

If you require an exchange please clearly state what item and size (if applicable) is required. 

Please note:Goods will only be accepted for return if they are returned within 14 days of delivery, unless we have notified you otherwise.The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. Therefore for your own protection we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. Delivery charges are only refundable where goods are faulty and a refund is made.Please also note we will refund an item if it is faulty, after a thorough check of the item.

Personalised jewellery with more than one initial cannot be refunded.Bangles and Rings- We offer one exchange with no charge but if you require any further adjustment, a charge will be applied for postage and packaging.

As we approach the festive season we understand that you may want to purchase a gift for Christmas. Any items purchased after 10th November 2025 will be able to be exchanged if returned before 10th January 2026. These items will only available for exchange not for a refund. Please allow 7 working days for a refund to be processed.

Most orders placed by 11am will be posted the same working day via DPD to mainland UK * see below for other areas. Please do note that once your order has left us it is in the hands of DPD.

For order values below £49.99 a postage fee of £3.95 applies (standard 1-2 working day delivery). 

For order values between £50 and £149.99, we offer free standard delivery (1-2 working days).

For order values over £150, you will receive free DPD next day delivery. 

DPD is a next day delivery service. Please note that weekends and bank holidays are not included.  

* Please note that our chosen courier service is DPD for mainland UK deliveries. In the case of Channel Isle, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Highland, Scottish Isles and the Scilly Isles Standard delivery will be via Royal Mail 1st Class, or a 2 day service from DPD. Northern Ireland deliveries will be a 2 day service via DPD at an extra cost.
