FAQ's and How to Measure
Handmade Statement:
All our items are handmade, therefore our measurements are approximate, and there can be some slight differences in textures and finishes due to how our products are created. The stones we use are semi precious and there could be slight variations in colour.
Birthstone Properties:
We use natural semi precious stones where possible, however please note that the following stones are lab created; Ruby, Sapphire, Opalite, Blue Opalite. Emerald is Cubic Zirconia.
How do I measure for bangles?
Measuring for bangles is easy! Simply follow these steps:
The easiest way to measure one of your bangles on the inside diameter. or To measure your hand for a bangle, scrunch your hand as if you are putting on a bangle and measure the widest bit of your hand. Remember you want the bangle to go over your hand quite tightly so that it isn't too loose. |
If you would like a different size just ask as we can adjust the majority of sizes.
We offer one exchange with no charge but if you require any further adjustment, a charge will be applied for postage and packaging.
How to care for your jewellery.
Lucy Kemp Jewellery create beautiful pieces using sterling silver. Silver is a natural product and will tarnish over time, please use these helpful tips to help keep your jewellery looking at it's best, for the longest time. Tarnishing is a natural process and does not effect the quality of your jewellery, you can clean using a soft cloth.
- Avoid exposing your jewellery to harsh chemicals, such as perfumes, lotions, and cleaning products.
- Silver is a naturally soft alloy and can scratch easily, take care not to knock your jewellery.
- Remove all jewellery when applying makeup or beauty products
- Try to avoid contact with water, for example washing up, swimming and bathing.
- Remove your jewellery when you go to bed to avoid mis-shaping your jewellery.
- Occasionally pinch the butterfly backs of your studs to tighten.
- Store your jewellery away from direct sunlight in an airtight container to help from tarnishing.
- Clean your jewellery by gentle buffing using a soft polishing cloth, or in warm soapy water with a soft brass brush.
Shipping
Most orders placed by 11am will be posted the same working day via Royal Mail. Please do note that once your order has left us it is in the hands of Royal Mail.
For order values below £29.99 a postage fee of £2.95 applies.
For order values between £30 and £79.99, we offer free standard delivery.
For order values over £80, you will receive free Royal Mail Special Delivery.
Royal Mail Special Delivery is a next working day delivery service. Please note that Saturdays are not included.
